- "Hero" was invited to the Int'l Fest of Cinema & Technology.

- "Rose" wins best short film in Toronto.

- "Rose" played at the Hollywood Film Festival and is invited to the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival.

- "Shortcomings" Premiered at Cinespace in Hollywood.

- "Rose" wins the Grand Festival Award at the Berkley Video and Film Festival.

- Filmed the Palm Treo commercial in downtown Los Angeles.

Summer 2006:
- Booked a commercial for Palm Treo.

- Filmed a barbeque scene for the Bose Commercial.

- "Rose" is really starting to get noticed and has been invited to 5 more festivals.

- Booked a National Commercial for Bose.

- ADR work for "Shortcomings"

- Liberty Mutual Shoot went well. Photos should be in Magazines and on the Internet by October.

- Booked a -Print Job- for Liberty Mutual Insurance.

- Adam presented his second draft of "Normal Family Fun" and a first draft of a children's story titled "Teacher - Zoo - Computer".

- Adam is very happy with his commercial representation and is auditioning a great deal more than previous years.

- "Wearing Hitler's Pants" has released it's website and will premier soon.


Spring 2006:
- "Rose" premiered at the Maui Film Festival and was well received.

- Adam presented two short scripts..."Convert" and "Normal Family Fun" to The Writers' Group of Studio City.  "Convert" will be locked in with a few minor changes.  "Normal Family Fun" was well received and Adam is excited about making a few changes, adding some scenes and finalizing this short script.  He hopes to film this short script with his children this summer.

- Adam was very happy about meeting and auditioning for Janet Hirshenson and Jane Jenkins.

- "Rose" will premier at the Maui Film Festival in June!!!

- Adam's role as Brother Mead in a reenactment for The Azusa Street Centennial Celebration is playing at the Rose Bowl between April 25-29.

- 1 Minute Stunt Reel is added to website.


2005

Winter 2005/2006:
- Adam is very happy that he has joined back up with The Writers' Group of Studio City.

- Adam had new headshots taken and enjoyed working with John Cole of www.jbcimages.com.

- "Freedom Writers" will have it's Theatrical Release on 1/12/07.

- Adam is excited about signing with Commercial Talent for his commercial and print representation.

- Latest 1 minute and 3 minute reels are up on the site. 

- "Confessions of a Late Bloomer" has been accepted into numerous film festivals and the number continues to grow.  Adam is very happy and excited for director Jen McGowan.

- "Eye of the Beholder" will screen at AFI on March 10th.

- Filming of "Shortcomings" went well.  Adam was happy to be working again with director Ryan Pearson.

- "The Revolting Dead" is available for rent at Blockbuster Videos.

- Booked the role of a businessman in a spec-commercial for Kiwi Shoe Polish.

- Adam enjoyed working on the filming of Nils Timm's short film titled "Eye of the Beholder".

- Filming of "Azusa Street" is completed and should be shown at the Rose Bowl between April 25 and 29, 2006.

- Adam had a good time working with actor/writer Slade Barnett while filming in Mar Vista, CA.

- Booked a role in a documentary titled "Azuza Street".

- Booked the role of 'Tough Guy' in a short film by Slade Barnett.

- Adam thought it was great to see "The Woman Next Door" and to hear director Taylor Hackford answer questions and discuss the film afterwards.  This was part of the AFI's Cinema's Legacy Series.

- Adam thoroughly enjoyed Chris Gilbert's performance in the musical comedy called "It Came from Beyond" in Hollywood.  Written by Cornell Christianson...Music/Lyrics by Stephen M. Schwartz and Norman Thalheimer and directed by Coy Middlebrook. 

- Booked and filmed the role of Dr. Lacey in Sean Conaty's short film titled "Break".

- John Reneaud's "Wearing Hitler's Pants" is finished and should have a screening early next month.

- Booked the role of a priest in a short film titled "Shortcomings".

- Adam was very happy to be introduced to and meet with producer Ted Kroeber whose film titled "American Gun" will have its theatrical release in early 2006.  The Sundance Institute, in partnership with the Mark Silverman Fellowship for New Producers, selected Ted for the 2005 Mark Silverman Fellowship.  

- The Cast and Crew Screening for "Rose" was a big success.  What was originally going to be one screening became 3 screenings and a great night all around.  Adam had high hopes for this 30 minute film and he now has even higher hopes after seeing the finished product.  Keep your eyes open for "Rose" as it hits the festival circuit in 2006.  Adam appreciated actors Ruben Pla, Jason Stuart and Margret McWilliams....directors Lisa Sanow and Adam Yunt...and numerous friends and family showing up at the screening in support.


2005 HIGHLIGHTS:
Adam had a great third year in L.A. and was very happy with his steady climb up...down...around the ever changing and adventurous world of Hollywood.  Adam's highlight was the birth of his fourth child...Gage Douglas Vanderwielen on February 11.  He was happy to add hair (a little bit) to his headshots and the following characters to a list that he hopes will continue to grow in 2006:  Illinois State Policeman, Redneck Trucker, Shopping Dad, Group Therapy Participant, Arson Investigator, Father of 3 Kids, Neverland Ranch Manager, Detective, Wheelchair Athlete, Death Row Inmate, Bald Guy in Park, and Policeman.


Fall 2005:
- Adam had an incredible night of filming his scene for "Freedom Writers".  He was able to work directly with Hilary Swank and the director (Richard LaGravenese) had them improv the last portion of the scene.  Filming took place at University H.S. near Santa Monica, CA.  Adam enjoyed working with stuntman Denney Pierce.

- Adam is very saddened by the passing away of his Manager Melisa Birnstein.  Adam has been represented by Melisa for the past 1 1/2 years.  Melisa fought very hard for her clients and will be missed for many things including her sense of humor, her hard work, and her passion.

- Adam's fitting for "Freedom Writers" went well and he will be playing a Long Beach Police Officer by the name of Porter (Policeman #1).

-  "Rose's" Cast and Crew Screening will be on Jan 5th 2006.

-  Adam attended the stage reading of Steve Barr's and Jon D'Amore's Mob-Horror-Comedy, "Mobsters & Monsters".  The reading was held at Joey Travolta's...The Entertainment Experience - Travolta Family Films.

- Booked the role of Policeman #1 in "Freedom Writers".  Filming will take place in late December.  Adam is very excited about working with director Richard LaGravenese and actress Hilary Swank.

- "Rose" is completed and is currently being submitted to numerous festivals.  The Cast and Crew Screening should happen in late 05 or early 06.

- "Guilty or Innocent" is playing in Ireland.

- Adam's pilot episode of "Close to Home" aired on CBS.

Summer 2005:
-  Adam enjoyed attending the Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival.  He watched some quality short films and a very good feature film..."Marilyn Hotchkiss' Ballroom Dancing and Charm School".

- "Penance" will be playing at the Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival on Sept. 15, 16, and 17th.

- "Penance" and "Last Meal" are showing at the Amazon/Tribeca Short Film Festival.

- Cast and crew screening of Gone Postal went very well.

- First cut of "Last Meal" looks great.  Click to watch.  

- Gone Postal will be premiering at the River's Edge Film Festival on Saturday, August 20th at 8:30pm in Paducah, KY. 

- Adam has decided to sign with Manager Melisa Birnstein of Associtated Artist for another year. 
 
- Filming of "Last Meal" went great.  Adam enjoyed being directed by and learning from Ted Post.

- Adam's newest reels (1 and 3 minute versions) produced by Q and Z productions are on the website.  

- Adam is excited about his move to The Savage Agency with his commercial/print agent Barbara Divisek.  The adult commercial department will be Savage - Divisek.

- Worked on a scene for a directing class at the Pasadena Art Center.  Ted Post is the teacher of the class and he shared a lot of valuable feedback.  Adam will be filming this scene with Actor Shane Wood later in the summer.

Shot some pick-ups for Matthew Chung's "Tales From the Office".

- Filmed a couple scenes for "Arizona Seaside".  Adam was playing the part of Brian and was very glad to reunite with Writer/Director Pil Pilegaard and DP Daron Keet.


Spring 2005:
- "Penance" has been accepted into the Houston Black Film Festival.

- Adam thoroughly enjoyed working with Lee Meriwether while filming "Gone Postal".  Filming took place at Atwater Village Studios.

- Finished filming Matthew Chung's short film titled "Tales From the Office".

- Booked a supporting role (Man in Wheelchair) in "Gone Postal".  Lisa Sanow of SeaHawk Productions is the writer/director and Lee Meriwether will be starring.  The film is scheduled to premier at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in the Fall of 2005.

- Adam was very happy to get a call back audition for "Medal of Honor Rag" which is being produced by Will Smith and directed by Delroy Lindo.  

- Filmed a scene for "Splitting Hairs" at Pan Pacific Park in Los Angeles.

- Booked a featured role in a SAG Short film titled "Splitting Hairs".  Casting Director: Steven Helgoth...Producer: Kimberley Barnhart...Consulting Producer: Adam Hauck...and Writer/Director: Michael Boretz.

- Booked the lead role of Detective Smith in Matthew Chung's short film titled "Tales From the Office".

- 2nd day of filming went very well on "The Michael Jackson Trial".  Adam was the only witness so he will be on the full 1/2 hour of the show on May 11th.  His scenes for May 10th did not air.

- Booked and filmed the role of ranch manager Joe Marcus in "The Michael Jackson Trial" on E Entertainment.  Adam will film again on May 10 and his episodes will air on May 10 and May 11. 

- Adam was very happy to take part in a table reading with Producer/Writer Lisa Sanow of SeaHawk Productions.

- Adam had a blast filming a scene for "Big Momma's House 2" with his son Tucker.  He was attempting to get his three children into the mini van while getting his ears pulled and hit high and low by baseball bats.

- Adam was asked to work with his son Tucker who booked a featured role on "Big Momma's House 2".

- Filming of  "Close to Home" went very well.  Adam enjoyed working with actress Jennifer Finnigan and director Simon West.

- Civic Duty has been accepted into the Dances with Films Film Festival in Los Angeles, May 6 thru May 12.

- Booked a Co-Starring role in Jerry Bruckheimer's pilot "Close to Home".  He will be playing the part of an Arson Investigator.

- "Penance" has been accepted into the Fort Myers Film Festival.

- The production company has submitted Adam's episode of "Guilty or Innocent" for Emmy consideration.  They are trying to find a different time slot to put the show back on the air.

- "Guilty or Innocent" has been pulled from the air.  It  may be picked back up by the Discovery Channel at a later date.

2004

Winter 2004/2005:
- "Penance" and "Civic Duty" will be part of the Amazon.com Tribecca Film/American Express online competition.  More info will follow... on when and how to view and vote for these two shorts.

- Booked the part of Brian in Pil Pilegaard's feature film.  Filming will begin this summer.

- Three of Adam's kids...Tucker, Ivy, and Aspen signed with Sheila Di Marco of Commercial Talent.  They will be submitted for Theatrical, Commercial, and Print.

- Booked and shot a spec commercial for Best Buy.  The shoot was a lot of fun and Adam enjoyed working in front of a green screen.

- Adam and his daughter Aspen booked jobs on an "Untitled Sketch Comedy Show" ..."My Crazy Life"...for E Entertainment.  Adam will be playing the role of a Redneck Trucker from Indiana.  Heather Petron is the Casting Director and Neil Mandt is the Director/Producer.

- Adam was disappointed that due to conflicts he was unable to join the cast of "Killing Russell Crow".  Jeremy Kehoe's play looks very interesting and will open on April 9th at The Lonnie Chapman theater in North Hollywood.

- Gage Douglas Vanderwielen (Adena and Adam's 4th child) was born on Feb 11th.

- Finished five great days of filming on the set of "Guilty or Innocent?"  The "Herb Whitlock Case" episode (#1.11) will air on April 9th at 9:00 pm on The Discovery Channel.

- Adam was very excited about being asked to play the lead role in "What the Butler Saw" at the Hollywood Fight Club Theater.  Unfortunately  he was unable to accept due to conflicts.

- Adam enjoyed taking part in writer Michael Jenning's stage reading of his screenplay.  Michael is a member of Lab Twenty6...a workshop for professional writers.

- Adam booked the role of Sergeant Larry Morash  of the Illinois State Police Department on "Guilty or Innocent?" (Reasonable Doubt).  Filming will take place in late January and early Feb.  Episode 1.11 will air on the Discovery Channel on April 9, 2005.

- Adam presented his short script "Convert" to The Writers' Group of Studio City.  The actors did a great job and Adam received a lot of valuable feedback.

- Adam was pleased to go out on his first audition with his new agent Barbara Divisek of Conan Carroll & Associates.

- Adam was excited that Literary Agent Victoria Wisdom visited the Writers' Group of Studio City.  She shared the knowledge she has gained through many years of working in the business.

2004 Highlights: 
- Adam's 2nd year in L.A. has been filled with excitement.  He has been able to add many different characters to the mix, join a writers group, join a theater group, add to and change his representation, get his first reel organized, and has met some incredible folks along the way.  Here are some of the characters Adam was able to play in 2004:  Union Soldier, Prisoner, Construction Worker, Former Heavyweight, Thief, Colonel, Plastic Surgeon, Bike Cop, Murderer, Policeman, Klansman, Actor, Weightlifter, Lawyer, FBI Agent, Salesman, Drug Addict, Terrorist, Writer, Father, Grieving Son, Businessman, Man From Future, Navy Officer, Marine, and Masked Minion.


Fall 2004:
- Adam's 5 minute version of his reel is completed and up on the website.  Adam is  having a 3 minute and 1 minute version produced as well.

- Adam is very happy to have signed with the Commercial and Print side of Conan Carroll & Associates and will be represented by Barbara Divisek.

- Adam's daughter Aspen booked background player roles on "Without a Trace" and "Arrested Development".

- Actor Erik Grammer is putting the finishing touches on Adam's reel.

- Adam enjoyed meeting with acting coach and career advisor Mark McPherson.

- Adam was very happy to meet with Commercial Agent Barbara Divisek of Conan Carroll & Associates.

- Adam completed Bernard Hiller's Commercial Acting Class and learned a lot of valuable information.

- Adam's daughter Ivy booked a principle role on a Fox Sports Channel Promo.

- Filming went well on the K. Hovnanian project.  Filming took place at a model home in Fontana, CA.

- Booked a part as a construction worker in an internal presentation project for K. Hovnanian Homes.  Rob Schraff will be directing and Armen Ohannesian will be the DP.

 - Adam is excited about signing up for Bernard Hiller's Commercial Acting Class.

- "A Night of Drama" closed it's successful run at The Hollywood Fight Club Theater.

- Adam's daughter Aspen booked a featured role on LAX.

- Adam and Renee Rivera performed part of their scene from "Requiem for a Heavyweight" at an AFTRA showcase.  Casting Director Tina Seiler and AFTRA Representative Roxanne Brown were in attendance.

- Adam's son Tucker booked a featured part on "House".

- Adam's daughter Ivy worked as a featured player on "This Is Not All".

- Filmed the prison scene for Ruben Pla's "This Is Not All".  Filming took place in Brentwood, CA and Adam enjoyed working with actor Rob Federighi.

- "A Night of Drama" opened at the Hollywood Fight Club and went very well. Adam has been very fortunate to work with Renee Rivera on "Requiem for a Heavyweight" and very happy that Richard Andrade was able to step in at the last minute to join him in "American Buffalo".

- Adam's daughter Aspen booked a day as a background player on "Fun with Dick and Jane"

- Adam enjoyed meeting with his Manager Melisa Birnstein of Associated Artists.

- Charity Night for Hollywood Babylon 2004 was a success!

- Adam will playing Dr. Sueme (Plastic Surgeon) in Hollywood Fight Club's Haunted House on Oct. 28, 29, 30, and 31st.

- Adam's daughter Ivy booked a few days as a special skills player on "Still Standing" as a member of a dance recital.

- The stage reading for Maria Soriano's "Magic" went very well.  The reading was held at the Whitmore-Lindley Theater in North Hollywood.

- Booked a part as an inmate in Ruben Pla's "This Is Not All".  Ruben is the writer/director and will be playing the lead role.  Adam's fellow inmate will be Rob Federighi.

- Booked the role of Brett in "Evil Intent".  Adam Yunt will be Directing.

- Adam's daughter Aspen booked a featured part on JAG and worked as a background player on Monster House.

- The cast of "A Night of Drama" met in Santa Monica and were assigned scenes. Adam will be working with Renee Rivera in "Requiem for a Heavyweight" and Willie Wright in "American Buffalo".  Tony Kamren will be the Director and Amber Deubler will be the Assistant Director.

- Adam was happy to be working with actor Tim Cowgill again on the final pick-ups for "Rose".  "Rose" will screen in late December or early January.

- Adam was asked to be a part of the second stage reading for Maria Soriano's "Magic" on October 24th.  He will playing Bones, Bald Man, and Greg.

- Adam was excited to receive the finished version of David Wright's "Hero".  It looks great and is being submitted to numerous film festivals.

- The screening for "Penance" at Sunset 5 looked great.  "Penance" is now eligible for consideration by the Academy for Best Short Film.

- Adam's son Tucker was featured on an episode of "Medical Investigation" that aired on 9/24/04.

- "Weapon of Mass Destruction" is showing at the Silverlake Film Festival September 27th at 3:00 pm.


Summer 2004:
- Adam filmed his episode of "Days of Our Lives" and it will air on October 25th.

- "Penance" will be playing at Laemmle's Sunset 5 (8000 Sunset Blvd.) at 11:00 am and 11:40 am on September 28, 29, and 30th.

- Adam booked an under 5 role as a Masked Minion on "Days of Our Lives".

- Filmed Adam's final scene for "Hitler's Pants" at a gym in Burbank, CA.

- Adam's daughter (Ivy) is in a Southwest Airlines commercial currently running.

- "Containment" is showing at the Silverlake Film Festival September 27th  at 5:30 pm.

- Adam signed with manager Melisa Bernstein of Associated Artists.

- Filming for "Hitler's Pants" will resume on Sunday at a fitness club in Burbank.

- "Penance" may be showing in Hollywood in late September.

- Booked a role in "Night of Drama" with the Hollywood Fight Club Theater.

- Adam presented a script for a short film ("Convert") and the start of a full length screenplay ("Why") to the Writers' Group of Studio City.  The actors did a great job and Adam received some valuable feedback from the group.

- 2nd meeting with Melisa Birnstein went very well.

- Adam was able to see another screening of "Penance" and it looks great.

- Went to a screening of "Containment" at the SoCal Film Group's annual party.

- Adam's episode of "What Should You Do?" aired.  He will be able to use some of the footage for his reel.

- Website for "Penance" has been created.

- Adam's call back audition for a national Toyota Tundra commercial went well.

- Worked on JAG as a marine.  Adam was able to get a bump up for playing a boxer sparring with another marine.

- Adam met with Manager Melisa Birnstein of Associated Artist regarding representation.  He is looking forward to meeting with her a second time.

- Adam went to an early screening of "Pennance" and thought it looked great.  The producer is trying to finish this project in time for the Sundance deadline in September.

- Adam is very excited about his friend Tim Cowgill booking a part on E.R.  Tim will playing Captain America in the July 4th episode that will be airing in mid September.

- "Weapon of Mass Destruction" is showing at Laemmle's Sunset 5 Theater on Friday and Saturday nights starting August 6.

- Adam was very excited about meeting with writer/director David Wendell.

- Filmed two days in the court room for JAG as a Navy Officer.

- Filmed a couple episodes for "Sunday Morning Shootout".  The guests were Laura Dern and John Malkovich.

- Booked two days as a Navy Officer on JAG.

- Stage reading of "Magic" was a success.

- Filmed the Aaron Green project "Blue Tooth" at Raleigh Studios.

- Filming of the scene for "Medical Investigations" went well and Tucker (Adam's son) was featured.  This will be part of the first episode and should air around the middle of August.

- Booked a role as a man from the future in "Blue Tooth".  Aaron Green is the director and Lynne Quirion is the casting director.

- Booked a day of shooting (with his son Tucker) on "Medical Investigations".  The filming will take place on the 19th at West Lake H.S.
- Rehearsal for the stage reading of "Magic" went very well.

- The production of "Death Trap" went great and closed on July 18th.

- Filmed a scene for "Confessions of a Late Bloomer" at Max Muscle in Pasadena, CA.  Adam was happy to be working with assistant director Greg Townsend and actor Shane Wood.  Adam last worked with Greg on "Spheromak" and with Shane on "Pennance".

- Filmed the scene/interview for the music video "Gabriel's Oboe".

- Adam was able to see "White Sheets Don't Stain" at the Playhouse West Film Festival.

- Booked a part in "Confessions of a Late Bloomer".  Betsy Comstock is the casting director and Jen McGowan is directing.

- Booked a part in "Gabriel's Oboe".  This is a music video that is being commissioned by Sony Classical and directed by Joshua Rous.  

- Booked a part in a stage reading of "Magic".  Maria Soriano is the writer and  Dallas Dorsett is directing.  Adam will be reading the part of Greg.

- "DEATH TRAP" opened at Hollywood Fight Club and is going very well.

- Wrapped the filming of "Pennance".  Release date will be in September.

- Filming of "Pennance" got off to a great start. 


Spring 2004:
- Rehearsal for "Pennance" was held at Griffith Park.  Adam was glad to see that Daron Keet is going to be the DP.

- Booked the part of Private Henry Bullock in "Pennance".  Adam is very excited about working with director Pil Pilegaard and actor/producer Shane Wood.  Filming will take place in L.A. in late June.

- Adam continued his Firearms Training with Retired Sr. Deputy Tim Cowgill. They went to Agoura Hills Target Range and Adam was able to practice with a revolver and a semi-automatic.

- Went to the pre-release screening for "The Revolting Dead".  The screening was held at Residuals Bar which was one of the locations for filming.

- Worked as a policeman on "Monk" today.

- Filmed another scene for "Hitler's Pants" with director John Reneaud.  Adam will film one more day in late July.

- Presented two shorts ("Yellow" and "Nightout") to The Writers' Group.  The actors did a great job during the reading and Adam received some very helpful feedback from the group.  

- Filmed an episode for "What Should You Do?" in Sherman Oaks.  Adam played the role of a father (Ken) with three boys.  The episode is titled "Tree Fall".  Adam was excited to work with DP Eric Leach for a second time.  He first worked with Eric on "Hero".

- Booked a role on "What Should You Do?"

- Adam met with the cast of "Death Trap" and did a read through.  Adam is happy to be working again with director Erik Blair.  The show opens on July 8th at The Hollywood Fight Club Theater.

- Adam had an amazing opportunity to undergo firearms training with Retired Sr. Deputy Tim Cowgill.  Adam was instructed on Revolvers, Semi-Automatics, Shotguns, Shooting Fundamentals, and Police Terminology.  Training will resume in the beginning of June.

- Filmed a scene for John Reneaud's "Hitler's Pants" at the The Avery Schreiber Theatre in North Hollywood.  Adam's next day of filming will be in June.

- ADR for "Rose".

- Booked a part in John Reneaud's feature film.  Adam will be playing an actor auditioning for a contemporary telling of the story of the Third Reich.

- Adam auditioned for David Danino and was asked to be a member of Hollywood Fight Club Theater.  He is very excited about joining the company!

- Booked the role of Porter in "Death Trap" by Ira Levin.

- The production of "Black Comedy" went very well and closed on May 9th.

- Filmed a spec commercial for The Real Canadian Bacon in Los Angeles and everything went great.  Adam played a bike cop who was arresting/beating a hockey player who was resisting arrest.

- Writer, Jon D'Amore, read over "Play Dates" and helped Adam a great deal.

- Opening Night for "Black Comedy" was a success!

- Booked a role as a policeman in a spec commercial for "The Real Canadian Bacon".  This will be filmed in early May and Rick LaRocca will be directing.

- Presented the 2nd draft of "Play Dates" for the writers group.  After a few more changes Adam is going to try to have it filmed.

- Filmed "Hero" in an alley behind The Complex Theater in Hollywood.  Adam was very fortunate to be able to work with Stunt Coordinator Bobby King again.  Adam first worked with him on the set of "Rose" back in December of 2003.

- Filmed "Counterfeit Existences".  Francine Parker helped with the filming.

- Went to the read through for "Hero" and met the rest of the cast.

- Filmed "Civic Duty" on the night of April 3 and morning of April 4 in North Hollywood.  Adam had a great time working with Pil Pilegaard again and some of the same cast and crew from "Affidavit".

- First rehearsal for "Counterfeit Existences" went well.  Filming will take place on April 13.

- The cast for "Black Comedy" met for the first time at The Hollywood Fight Club.  Erik Blair will be directing.

- Adam filmed some pick-up shots for "Rose".  

- Booked a part in a SAG Experimental Short called "Hero".  David Wright is the director/producer and Ted C. Eachus is also producing.  Filming will take place in mid April.

- Did some more ADR work for "Rose".

- Filmed "White Sheets Don't Stain" in Apple Valley, CA. on the night of the 27th and morning hours of the 28th.

- Booked the part of the Colonel in "Black Comedy" by Peter Shaffer. This production is with The Hollywood Fight Club and will run April 30, May 1, 2, 7, 8, and 9th.


2003

WINTER 2003/2004:
-Booked the parts of Vito and Mr. Akins in "Send Me No Flowers".   
          
- Adam is working on a scene from "Sweet Bird of Youth" by Tennessee Williams. Adam will be playing the part of Dr. George Scudder and actor Dan Edand will be playing the part of Chance.

- Booked a part in "Civic Duty" which will be filming in early April.  Pil Pilegaard is the writer/director.  Adam worked with Pil on "The Affidavit".
- Rehearsal for "White Sheets Don't Stain" went well.  Filming will be in late March.

- Adam attended a lecture at NEW MEDIA Hollywood on editing.  He was able to see some editing work from "Spiderman 2" and a music video by "Outkast".

- Adam finished the script for a short film called "Play Dates".  He is working on rewriting certain parts after receiving some valuable feedback from The Writers' Group.  He had a blast watching the stage reading of the script.   
      
- Michael Lerner (who is the brother of Ken Lerner...Adam's acting teacher) stopped by to watch some scenes at class tonight.

- Adam did some voice over work for a documentary about "The FAB 4".  They are a Beatles tribute band.

- Adam participated in a stage reading for "Rubdown".  "Rubdown" is a script for a feature film that was written by Jon D'Amore and Laura Fuino. 
 
- Booked a supporting role in a short film that was written by Arastao Maree. Filming will take place in late March.  

- Filmed "The Boston Mistress" today in Woodland Hills.  

- Adam is working on a scene from "A Hatful of Rain" that was written by Michael V. Gazzo and will be playing the part of Johnny.    

- Adam is working on a scene from "The Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller and will be playing the part of Biff.  Actor Micheal Duisenberg will be playing the part of Happy.   
                                           
- Adam met his new agent, Stuart Edward, and is very excited.  Stuart has been with Coralie Jr. for ten years.

- Adam did his 1st reading for the Writers' Group and is now an official member. His first writing goal is a script for a short film.  

- Adam is working on  a scene for a directing class at The Pasadena Art College of Design.  He will be doing a scene from "The Owl and the Pussycat" by Bill Manhoff.  He will be working again with actress Schoen Smith.

- Adam is working on a scene from "Cat's Paw" by William Mastrosimone.  He will be playing the part of Victor and Jeremy Robinson will be playing Darling.

- First practice for "The Boston Mistress" went very well.  Adam will be working with actress Schoen Smith and actor Shane Wood.

- Adam worked on ADR today for "Rose".  He was glad to hear that he may get to wear the wig again for a close up shot that is needed.  Adam ran into Pat Grasso (his sidekick in "Rose") and was excited to hear about Pat's recent part with Britney Spears in the "Toxic" video. 
      
- Filmed the scene for "Down Under In Florida".  This is the 35mm film for AFI that is being directed by Sam Esmail.  Adam was an FBI agent who was attempting to restrain Diora Baird who was playing the part of Maren.

- Adam visited "The Writers' Group" for the third time.  This is a group of writers/actors/directors that has been meeting for the last 14 years.  They take turns presenting their work and discussing possible ways to improve.  They meet on Wednesday nights at the "Two Roads Theater" in Studio City.

- Adam is going to be helping out at Skirts Casting.

- Adam auditioned for "Food Stamp Films" and has been invited to join.

- Adam recently met Writer/Producer/Director Matt Cunningham.  Adam was very excited about meeting him and hopes to work with him in the future.

- Tim Cowgill has agreed to train Adam in Firearms.  Tim is an actor that Adam had a great time working with on "Rose".  Tim is a former police officer with over 20 years of valuable experience in the field.

- Booked a part as an FBI agent in "Down Under in Florida".  This is a film for AFI and will be filming in January.

- Adam is currently working on a scene from "Barefoot in the Park".  He will be playing the part of Paul.

2003 Highlights: 
- It was a great first year in L.A. for Adam.  He joined SAG and AFTRA, signed to be represented by Brent Swan of Coralie Jr. Agency, studied at Playhouse West and at The Ken Lerner Studio, and was able to play a wide varitey of characters.  Here is a list of some of his roles:  Psychotic Security Guard, Half Snake Half Man Creature, Truck Driver, Alien Dressed as an American Soldier, Thug, Mosher, Gigolo, Senator, Cowboy, Zombie, Hick Big Brother, Grad Student, Demon, Scamming Boyfriend, Terrorist, Musician, Hiker, Balloon Artist, Autopsy Asst., Salesman, Mentally Handicapped Man, Mailman, Medical Tech, Federal Marshall, Detective, Juror, Police Photographer, Cop, Marine, Father, Crazy Football Fan, Patient, Coroner, Naval Cadet, Detective, and Research Drone.


Fall 2003:
- Adam was able to meet Gary R. Johnson and Dave Allan Johnson.  Gary and Dave are brother-in-laws to Adam's cousin Judy Vanderwielen Johnson.  Gary and Dave are currently working on "Doc" and "Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye" which are being filmed in Canada.  They shared a lot of good advice with Adam.

- Pil Pilegaard sent Adam a copy of "Civic Duty".  He is considering Adam for a part as a Storm Trooper.

- Adam met with Ryan Pearson regarding filming the scene they performed last month at the Art Center in Pasadena.  They plan on shooting on 16mm  on February 7, 2004.

- "Rose" has wrapped.  Adam was able to see some of the footage at the wrap party and said it looked great! 

- The filming for "Rose" has switched to Peru, CA.  Adam has filmed two days at this location and has one more night of filming before he wraps.

- Two more nights of filming at the Tejon Ranch.  Everything went well and Adam enjoyed being guided by Bobby King during the fight scene.

- Filming has started on "Rose" and it looks great.  Adam filmed the last three nights at Tejon Ranch in Lebec, CA.  The ranch is 270,000 acres and is incredible!!!  He has one more night shoot and two day shoots remaining on this project.

- Stunt practice today with Bobby King for "Rose".

- "Revolting Dead" is having it's L.A. premier on Dec. !0th at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, CA. 

- Rehearsed for "Rose" and it went great.  Filming will begin on the night of December 6.

- Finished shooting "Containment" in Pasadena.

- Filmed the scene from "Spheromak" in Pasadena tonight.  They shot the scene in one continuous shot which was very interesting and should look great!

- Performed the scene from "Spheromak" for Jeremy Kagan's directing class at USC.  The filming will take place in Pasadena this week.

- Filming for "Containment" has resumed.  Adam filmed the alley scene and did some voice over for a telephone conversation.  Cyndi Marinangel has taken over for Catherine Chiarelli as the female lead due to scheduling conflicts.

- Practiced the scene for "Spheromak" at USC.

- Mailman on "7th Heaven"

- Booked a scene for a USC directing class.  This scene will be performed and worked on in class and then will be filmed as a short later in the week.  The title is "Spheromak" and Greg Townsend is the director and Eli Jorne is the writer.

- Worked as a pilot on "J.A.G".

- Audited Ken Lerner's scene study class and thought it was great.  Adam will be playing Lennie Small from "Of Mice and Men" in his first scene for the class.

- Adam had a great time with the 24 hr shoot contest.  They received the theme and the setting at midnight and had to write, shoot, and edit the short in 24 hrs.

- Adam performed the scene from "Death of a Salesman" today and really enjoyed playing the part of Willy Loman.

- Booked the part of a Ronnie's body guard in "Friday Night Renaissance."  This is a 35 mm film being produced by Dena Hamama and the writer/director is Jacob Scarpaci.

- Booked a spot on a 24 hr shoot contest at "A Night of Improv."

- Booked the part of Older Darren in "Rose."  This is a SAG Experimental Short being produced by Michael Silberman and directed by Hoku Uchiyama.

- Adam worked on "7th Heaven."

- Adam is currently working on a scene from "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller.  He will be playing the part of Willy Loman.

- "Weapon of Mass Destruction" is complete and the cast and crew will have a screening on Saturday.

- Adam booked work on "The District" as an attorney.  He was switched to a juror and was able to work two days.  This episode will air on 11/22/03.

- Adam went to San Francisco to an advance screening of "The Revolting Dead." The screening took place at the Varnish Fine Art Gallery.  An L.A. Premier is being planned for late November.

- "Containment" will resume filming on October 29th.

- "Navy NCIS" has brought the original autopsy asst. back so Adam will not be working as Ducky's asst. in future episodes.

- Filmed a couple scenes in the autopsy room for "NCIS" episode #5.
- Captain David A. Campbell invited Adam to visit the L.A. Coroner's Office to research Autopsy Techs in action.  David and Roy gave Adam a tour of the facility and shared their knowledge they have gained through the years.  It was a very valuable and interesting experience.
- Great day of filming for episode #5 of "Navy NCIS."  The filming took place at the Disney Ranch in Newhall, CA.


Summer 2003:
- Adam booked another day with "Navy NCIS" and was asked to be a regular as Ducky's assistant in the autopsy room. 
 
- Adam was asked to shoot another day with "Navy NCIS."  He is working as an autopsy assistant to Dr. Theodore 'Ducky' Mallards.  Ducky is being played by David McCallum. 

- Adam had a great day of filming in the autopsy room on "Navy NCIS."  He was able to work with a corpse (actor) and a lot of pig organs.  This episode will air in late October.

- Adam began the filming of "Containment".  The car scenes of the male lead (Raymond, played by Adam) were covered without a problem. 
 
- Booked a union part on "Navy NCIS" for Monday.  

- Adam went to the first read through of "Containment".  Shooting will be September 20, 21, 27, and 28th.

- Adam did his scene for "Blue Line" and it went great.  The filming took place at a liquor store near USC.  

- Booked the part of Raymond in "Containment."  Ryan Polito is the witer/director and it is being produced by Jon D'Amore and the SoCal Film Group.

- Worked as a balloon sculptor on "The O.C.".  

- Booked a part as a liquor store customer in "Blue Line".  This is a 35mm/synch sound film being done through USC.  Geoffrey Hildrew and Jennie Chamberlain are the producers and and Tara Samat is the writer/director.

- Adam worked on the set of "Scrubs" in North Hollywood.  They film at an old hospital on Riverside Ave that is closed down.  

- Adam worked on the set of "Karen Sisco".  This is a new show about a female Federal Marshall.  Adam was able to be featured as a Marshall escorting the bad guy into court.  (prod # 64701)

- Adam filmed "The Affidavit" last night in North Hollywood.  This was an all night shoot that included an abduction and an operation to remove a kidney.

- Adam worked on the set of the "District" today.  He was asked to work directly with one of the lead actors during one of the close ups.  This is production #403 and will air in mid September.

- Adam worked on "Judging Amy" today as a police photographer.

- Booked the part of a thug in "Affidavit".  Pil Pilegaard is directing and EmilyPerez is the producer.

- 2nd day of filming for "Weapon of Mass Destruction".  Filmed near Beverly Hills at Forrest Canyon Ranch.

- First day of filming for "Weapon of Mass Destruction".  The filming took place on the USC campus.

- Adam did the ADR for "The Menage" today.

- First day of filming for Adam on the set of "Ghost in the Garden".  Everything went well and he will be shooting again on July 18th.

- Adam Booked the part of the General's Guard in "Weapon of Mass Destruction".  This is an action/comedy feature being directed by Tony Jacobs.

- Adam filmed his scene for "High Profile" today.  They were in Camarillo, CA at the Camarillo Ranch.  It was an incredible setting and the shooting went very well.

- Worked on "Win A Date with Tad Hamilton".  This is a feature film being produced by DreamWorks and directed by Robert Luketic.


Spring 2003:
- Worked on a Drug Awareness PSA for the Federal Government.  This was a volunteer project through SAG.

- Finished filming for Dolly today.  It was a great shoot and today Adam's character (Dan) was scamming some money from his girlfriend and then coming back to steal her Grandmother's ring.

- Filmed some great shots with the Doll today for "Dolly".

- Filmed the poker scene for "Dolly".

- Filmed part of "The Bench II" today.

- Booked the part of Manny in "The Bench II".  This is a silent film and is being directed by Bonnie P Davis.

- Did the ADR for "Stitches" tonight.  The film should be ready for the film festival on the 23rd of May.

- Filmed a Public Service Announcement today in Manhattan Beach.

- Booked the lead part of Dan in "Dolly".

- Booked a Public Service Announcement regarding cell phone safety.  Michael Forbes will be directing.

- Re-shot some scenes for "Stitches" and finished of the death scene tonight.

- Booked the part of Raveena's body guard in "Ghost In The Garden".  Issac Bedonna is the writer/director.

- Booked the part of Senator Rockway in "High Profile".  This film is being being directed by Sean Derksen.

- Re-shot a scene from "Menage" today.  They needed to fix some of the lighting.

- Second day of shooting for "Stitches" went great.  
- First day of filming for "Stitches" and it went very well.  Adam had a blast doing the fight scene!!!!!

 - Filmed "The Menage" today and everything went well.  The filming took place  in Manhattan Beach at Barnaby's Hotel.

- Booked the part of Stroddard in "Stitches".  Marc Payan is the writer and this is being produced by Orange Coast College.

- Booked the part of Brad in  "The Ménage".  This is a short comedy being filmed by California State University, Dominquez Hills.

- Finished filming "Revolting Dead"!!!!  It was a very intense and enjoyable eight days.
  
- Four days into the filming of "Revolting Dead" and everything is going great!!!  The Zombie make-up has been incredible. 
  
- Great shoot today in the Hollywood Hills for a Sony Spec Commercial.  It was a rainy day of hiking and moshing.  The last shot of the day was some serious one-on-one moshing in a huge water pit.


2002

Winter 2002/2003:
- Worked on "Surviving Christmas" today with his daughter Aspen.  Adam received his first union voucher!!!!!!!  One down and Two to go.

- Booked a "Sony Spec Commercial".  Jennifer Burnham is the Producer and Jud Grubbs is the Director.  

- "Hollywood Squares" airs on March 4th.

- Booked the part of Jebbie on "Revolting Dead".  Jason Herbst and Tye Beeby are the producers and Michael Su is the director.  He's very excited about this opportunity and is looking forward to March 23rd. when they begin filming.

- Was on set with his daughter for a Discovery Channel commercial and was asked to play her father in the shot.  Adam went through make-up and wardrobe but did not end up being used.

- "Confined".... Played a  twisted security guard at a mental hospital who enjoys viewing the patients through the security cameras.  "Confined" is being directed by Ryan Williams.

- Offered a part in an Independent British Feature Film.  Was unable to accept  it because of a prior commitment.  Adam stopped by the set late in the day and it looked very interesting!  "L. V. J." is being directed by Chris Taylor.

- Just finished 3 great days of filming for J.A.G.  The show Adam worked on will air on 2/04/03.

1971-2001

2000: -  Living in Charlottesville, VA with his wife and growing family and enjoying his time as an ensemble member of Live Arts.

1990's: -  Entered the exciting world of mascot/character work.  Adam worked as the mascot for Purdue University, played numerous costumed characters at Disneyland and spent a brief period traveling with the San Diego Chicken.

1980's: -  Continued to enjoy live theater and competing in athletics.

1970's: -  Began performing in live theater with the Fendig Children's Summer Theater in Rensseler, IN.  Adam discovered his love for competitive sports when he joined the swim team and wrestling team.
